Laboratory-Produced CO2 Calibration Gases 1

Herbert Zvi Enoch

Department of Agricultural Meteorology, Agricultural Research Organization, The Volcani Center, Bet Dagan 50250, Israel

A simple, inexpensive apparatus for making mixtures of accurately known amounts of CO2 and CO2-free atmospheric air is described. Calibration gases with CO2 contents of 200 to 1500 microliters per liter produced with the apparatus had concentrations which were within 10 microliters per liter of the target concentration.
