Azuki bean cells were grown in Murashige-Skoog medium in the presence or absence of 50 μm BSO for 3 d, and they were treated with 5 to 10 μm Cd for 3 d in the same media. Dry wt of the cells were measured and percent inhibitions were calculated. Data represent means of three experiments ±se.
