  • Stem material was harvested from sand-grown plants with a total of 16 leaves. Samples were taken from the eighth, fifth, and second internodes (counted from bottom to top of the plants) of wild type, AtGA20-ox number 15, and AtGA2-ox number 41 corresponding to apical, medial, and basal stem parts, respectively. The values represent the mean ± sd of two independent experiments with three samples each.
