ASPB journals Online SUBSCRIBER HELP & SERVICES:

Institutional Subscriptions

[COST] [Frequently Asked Questions] [Terms and Conditions]

Online Institutional Subscribers to Plant Physiology and The Plant Cell have access to tables of contents, abstracts, full-text searching, full-text display, PDFs, links to Medline and gene databases, e-mail table of contents alerting, and interjournal links to other HighWire Press journals. Access is limited to authorized users of an institutional subscription and does not require user names or passwords.

Institutional Online Subscriptions will provide access to ASPB's journals online from an institution in one geographic location; no remote campuses, remote sites, consortia, or other forms of subscription sharing are allowed. For the most part, an Institutional Online Subscription authorizes use at a localized site. A "site" is an organizational unit and may be academic or nonacademic. For organizations located in more than one city, each city office is considered a different site. For organizations within the same city that are administered independently, each office is considered a different site. For example, each campus in the State University of New York system is considered a different site, and each branch or office of Upjohn Laboratories is considered a different site.

An online subscription permits unlimited simultaneous Internet access to ASPB's online journals by authorized users (the employees, faculty, staff, and students officially associated with the subscriber, and authorized patrons of the subscriber's library facilities that are administered from the subscriber's site or campus) through the use of the institution's IP address. A range of addresses (e.g., 123.456.*.*, 123.456.7-9.*.*) or a list of IP addresses describing the subscriber's site may be provided. Any authorized user connecting through your institutional network from a remote location will be allowed access to Plant Physiology Online and The Plant Cell Online.

[CRITICAL INFORMATION ABOUT IP ADDRESSES - READ THIS]

The name, title, phone, fax, and e-mail address of the institutional contact for the online subscription.

Your Customer Number.

Your institution will not have access to the full ASPB journals Online until you complete Step 2.

Payment for ASPB's online journals subscriptions can be accepted through subscription agents, but the online registration form may not be completed by agents. ASPB's fulfillment service will handle all administration of online registration directly with the subscriber.

If you are having access problems...

On February 1, 1999, access to ASPB journals Online will be restricted to paid online subscribers and ASPB members for research articles less than 12 months old. Articles older than 12 months are free. A letter was sent instructing paid subscribers to ASPB's online journals on how to activate their online subscription. If you are having difficulties accessing ASPB's online journals, please read the following instructions:
